Bring on the sparklers, stars and stripes! Are you ready for the Fourth of July?! It’s so fun to get together with friends and family and celebrate outdoors!

For this holiday, you can definitely keep it super casual. I went with the typical red, white and blue color scheme. I used red as my accent color and focused mostly on white and indigo blue.

I covered my table with a white tablecloth. Each place setting included: white dinner plates, indigo polka dot salad plates, clear stemless wine glasses and tall tumblers, white and red striped napkins (from Hearth and Hand) and simple gold flatware.

To create the centerpiece, I purchased a lantern from the dollar spot at Target tip: place a glass inside with water to hold your flowers if using something that isn’t your typical vase! I also created a few bud vases (all from Target dollar spot).

Red roses were the perfect accent for my centerpiece!

Since the party was outside, I kept the backdrop simple. I created a DIY balloon hoop (click here for the tutorial). It is really easy and fun backdrop! I also recommend adding in greenery/flowers.

I made a simple sangria for the signature drink (recipe here). To keep with the theme, I used blueberries and strawberries for the fruit.

I used a cookie cutter to make watermelon stars for my fruit platter. I love putting together a fruit platter, especially on a hot summer day! So refreshing.

I hope this gives you inspiration for your 4th of July party!
