I’m so excited to share my boho baby shower with you all! A boho theme with simple girly touches — neutrals, pinks, and pops of butterflies and wildflowers. We found the perfect invitation on Etsy (which also had the option to add on matching items!) My shower was at a local venue here in Naples, FL. The venue was not too big, not too small…the perfect size for an intimate shower.

The decor/colors at the venue were neutral which made decorating easy since everything flowed seamlessly. Guests were welcomed as the walked in the door a custom sign that read “Welcome to Lauren’s Baby Shower.” My husband spray painted the stand white to better match the theme and I created a balloon garland to go down the one side, which can be purchased from my shop.
My dress is from pink blush maternity, here, it was super comfy and something that can be worn again!

Backdrop/Sitting Area to Open Gifts
I’m so in love with how this backdrop turned out! I wanted it to be simple and chic and I’d say that’s just how it turned out! I used a gold circle backdrop from Amazon – this was so easy to put together and can be used over and over again. It’s a small investment that is definitely worth it. I draped sheer cloths over it which gave it a dreamy look and the final touch was a beautiful dried floral arrangement from Brittany at West and Rock Designs. I rented this peacock chair and pillow from Plithos Rentals, the peacock chair is such a show stopper!

The Tablescape
I was so happy the venue had a long table so we could have a seated, intimate lunch. Everyone was able to sit together at one table and interact with each other. For the table runner I used a whimsy blush gauze runner. The centerpiece was a stunning arrangement featuring an array of dried pampas and fresh flowers including roses created by West and Rock Designs. Each table setting included a matching plate, appetizer plate, rose gold flatware and cups. My favorite detail were the custom drink stirrers by Cocoa and Confetti. There were 3 designs: a butterfly, flowers with a butterfly that were a perfect match to the invitation and baby Layla. The favors were also placed at each setting.

Food, Drinks & The Cake
My mom is amazing and made all of the food including the cake herself! And my dad helped with the preparation, too 🙂 I’m so grateful for them! Everything was so delicious and was the perfect graze for lunchtime.
Drinks:
- Infused water – lemon and cucumber
- Mom-osa Bar
A mimosa bar is perfect for a lunchtime baby shower. Guests can get creative and mix juices, add as little or as much champagne as they would like or no champagne at all :). We served 3 juices: orange, mixed berry and watermelon. It is also such a pretty statement area. We set ours up along the bar at the venue. Other decor included baby clothes hung behind the bar, bud vases with flowers and a beautiful arrangement.

Appetizers:
- Spinach dip
- Salami, mozzarella & basil skewers
- Caprese skewers
- Deviled eggs

Lunch:
- Pulled pork sliders with coleslaw
- Ham and cheese sliders
- Potato salad
Dessert:
- Pound cake with cream cheese icing
- Macarons
The dessert table was set up with the beautiful cake – my mom added fresh flowers to decorate it which were the prettiest addition. I received this cake stand from Joyeux company – they have the trendiest, modern colors, highly recommend! I made Layla banner using felt, it was a labor of love for sure haha!

The Favors
My babcie (grandmom in polish) actually came up with this idea. I told her I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do. She has a stack of my magazines that I was featured in and looked through all of them. She called me to tell me what she found and popcorn was one of them! so my mom created the tags that read ”thanks for popping by” and she made the popcorn homemade, too! You can’t go wrong with popcorn 🙂

Games
I know hearing the word game at a baby shower can sometimes be cringey. We decided to do 2 games – the price is right and bingo. Both were super fun and fast laced which I think is key! Bingo was filled out after lunch and before opening gifts. The price is right was played after opening gifts. price ideas: for bingo the price was a bottle of wine and a candle and for the price is right (each item gets a prize) were lottery tickets!

The Best Day!

My baby shower was such a beautiful day! It was simple, intimate, boho and everything I could have hoped for. Huge shoutout to my mom for everything that she did and to everyone who attended. Baby Layla was showered with so much love. As always, my hope is to inspire you throw your own charming event. I hope this provides you with inspiration if you are planning a shower for someone, or yourself!
