The inspiration for this shoot came from wanting to show a fun way to celebrate the holiday season living by the beach. Living in Florida, we are lucky to have sunny skies pretty much all year. I knew the beach would be the perfect location for this shoot. Whether you have family visiting or want to do something different with friends to get into the holiday spirit; a beach picnic is the way to go!
The beautiful beach, Wiggins State Park in Naples, FL, was the perfect backdrop. There’s nothing like hearing the crashing waves. The style I went with was vintage-boho with a focus on bamboo and dried florals. Plithos Rentals had the exact items I was looking for to match the vibe. I created a balloon garland to attach to the bamboo screen along with a bouquet of dried florals.
I kept the table simple with scalloped plates, emerald napkins, pink cups, and gold flatware at each place setting. I placed a little bag filled with custom confetti from Festive Fetti on top of each plate for guests to take home.
For the centerpiece, I used a gorgeous dried floral arrangement from Kaleidoscope Home and sprinkled confetti for a fun pop of color.
The weather was perfect and it was a blast being merry by the beach!
