Designing my baby girl’s nursery was a complete dream!! I knew I wanted it to be super girly, yet more on the mature side so it can grow with her. My inspiration came from my love of the beach, rattan and boho pieces. The first piece which started the inspiration was this vintage pier 1 imports 1990s dresser! The same weekend of our gender reveal, my friend who sells vintage furniture was in the works of getting it and it was a sign because it’s exactly what I had in mind! We had already decided on wainscoting – which my husband did by himself and it turned out so amazing! We were originally toying with the idea of wallpaper but ultimately decided no as the walls aren’t a flat finish. The next thing was deciding on a paint color – check my instagram ‘nursery’ highlight for all the behind the scenes! The paint color we went with is coral mist by Sherwinn Williams.

Eeek! Just looking at this picture gives me all the heart eyes! So after deciding on paint colors, it was just a matter of finding decor and furniture pieces after that. A lot of the pieces are locally sourced and vintage, making her room truly one of a kind. I linked as much as I could find and some things I DIY’ed.

Like I said, the dresser is vintage pier 1 1990s if you can find it locally near you! This doubles as our changing table. The changing basket is perfect! It is from Etsy. The boho wall hanging, I made myself! I saw a few popping up on Pinterest, but they were all in different countries, so instead of waiting for shipping.. I made it myself! Check out my post here to create your own 🙂

Decorating tip: save any florals from gender reveal, baby shower, etc and add them to pretty vases 🙂

The crib is from Pottery Barn and it is beautiful. Her crib blanket were handmade as a gift and the round velvet pillow is from here. I found the pieces above the crib at Hobby Lobby. I basically just took up an entire aisle, laying different pieces out to see what I liked best! haha. Dried Floral painting, similar to the pampas painting, forever be my always rattan piece.

I kept it simple with pampas (the BEST deal! Under $20) in a vase, be sure to add height! As you can see, the tall pampas and shelf are about the same height. Other items I included in this little nook are a flamingo rocker and little table with a bud vase with dried flowers from my baby shower and baby vans :). We do have a rocker, but kept it in our bedroom.

This rug is from Amanda Lindroth which is now sold out, but here are two similar options that are super affordable from amazon! Here and here

I handmade this banner myself, using felt, filling it with pillow stuffing and hand sewing it together. The shelf is so cute! I styled it with a picture frame with a butterfly print.

This bookshelf and chair were also sourced locally! I styled the bookshelf with stuffed animals, books, special keepsakes and handmade items.

I had so much fun designing her nursery! I hope this provides you with inspiration for your own daughter’s nursery or even little girl’s room!
