One of my favorite things to do is create floral arrangements. It is so fun to get creative and is therapeutic, too! I have a new found obsession with dried flowers. I purchased a few variations during fall to decorate my house with. The best thing about dried flowers is they last forever! And ever since then..well the obsession has been real, ha!

Where to buy dried florals?
My favorite place to order online is from Afloral. Click here. They have a ton of options. A few of my favorites are: pampas grass, any of the palm variations, nigella orientalis, bird of paradise. You can also order dried flowers from your local florist.
Why dried flowers?
The reason I love dried flowers is that they can be used over and over again. I recommend purchasing neutral colors like white, tan and ivory. That way, they can be used year round. For pops of color, you can add fresh flowers.
Creating arrangements: I created this arrangement by mixing dried and real flowers. It is a really unique look. In my opinion, there is no right or wrong way. Just do what looks nice to you! I like to start out by picking 3 smaller, less full stems that look nice together. From there, I begin building by adding larger stems, like the pampas and eucalyptus. Tip: purchase real flowers from Trader Joe’s if you have one near you! They are super affordable. I have shared before that is the best place to purchase eucalyptus as pictured above. It is only $2.99 per bunch.
How to use dried flowers?
I love using them around the house for decor. Stick them in vases, mini bud vases, etc. For a party, you can set up a dried floral bar. It’s a great activity for guests to get creative with and they have a beautiful favor to take home.
