I’m so excited to share this eucalyptus themed baby shower I styled for my sister-in-law. A eucalyptus theme is so popular right now, rightfully so! Reasons to love it? Gender neutral, easy to find decor and it works year-round. The shower was at the Neshaminy Creekside Inn in Bensalem, PA. The venue had a ton of rustic characteristics which made decorating easy. Guests were welcomed as the walked in the door with baby block letters filled with balloons and a custom sign that read ” Welcome to Sara’s Baby Shower.”

Backdrop/Sitting Area to Open Gifts
The main room in the venue where guests ate, mingled and the mom-to-be opened gifts had beautiful wood beams and a backdrop with ponds filled with fish. This is where I set up a peacock chair from Tinsley Treasures Co. where the mama could sit and open gifts. I attached fresh eucalyptus from CAFlowerGrowers on Etsy *I ordered this from Etsy! I HIGHLY recommend this shop. The eucalyptus bunches were huge and so beautiful, well worth the money and not having to worry about finding it in the store!* For the backdrop, I created an organic balloon garland using eucalyptus, white sand, white and chrome gold. I added in a few sprigs of eucalyptus to tie the theme together. You can create your own DIY balloon garland kit with the same colors using one of my kits, here. The railing behind the chair was filled with baby clothes displayed on twine with mini clothespins.

The Tables
The table were covered in simple white linen tablecloths supplied by the venue along with tan napkins and silver flatware. For the centerpiece, a clear vase sat on a rustic wood slice (also from the venue) with eucalyptus and baby’s breath. Custom confetti from FestiveFetti was sprinkled around the centerpiece. Mini bottle of champagne were placed at each setting with a custom tag that matched perfectly from Pop it When She Pops – this is a great favor idea and there are a ton of options on her site, like the ones I selected, here!

Food, Drinks & The Cake
The great thing about having an event at a venue is typically food and drinks are an option that is included. The shower was at 11am and brunch was served. The food included fresh fruit, muffins, bacon, sausage, egg frittatas, tuna and chicken salad sandwiches and cookies. The popular drink of the day was for sure mimosas! Where the bar was located, there was also a sweet little sitting area and a fireplace. I hung custom burlap banners that are all handmade from Rusty Chic Decor with the baby’s name and oh baby which had tassels and wooden beads with it. The banners were gorgeous and looked perfect. My favorite thing about the banners is they can then be repurposed for the nursery. A backdrop was also set up with a rustic liner with eucalyptus so guests could take pictures along with a ladder filled with pictures of the mom and dad to be. The cake was a simple white cake decorated with gorgeous succulents and a handmade custom cake topper from Avalon Sunshine. The love cake toppers like this, they are so simple, pretty and easy to use!

The Favors
The favors were set up on a buffet with a sign thanking the guests and letting them know to take one home. A handmade yarn tassel banner from Rusty Chic Decor was hung across the front of the buffet. The favors were mini succulents (ordered from Amazon!) wrapped in burlap with a cute little tag that read “watch me grow”.

The shower was such a beautiful day! I hope this provides you with inspiration if you are planning a shower for someone, or yourself! Check out the look book below of each item that was used.
