Red, white and blue just screams summertime! It is a theme that you can’t go wrong with for summer events, including the 4th of July. I collaborated with Gisselle of Memorable Mobile Parties to create this gorgeous drink station
This party is featured in the Sumer 2021 issue of Mingle Magazine

This white cart is perfect to set up desserts or drinks on. It is easily accessible so guests can serve themselves whenever they need a refill. Other options are using a bar cart or a large piece of furniture like a buffet server.

A created a balloon garland using one of my DIY balloon garland kits. A balloon garland is a festive and inexpensive way to wow your guests, the best part is no balloon experience is necessary! Check it out here.

My favorite way to add a festive touch for the 4th of July is using mini American flags and paper straws with red and blue stars on them.

I recommend creating a signature drink to match the theme of your event, it doesn’t have to be anything crazy, but it is fun to go along with the theme! This is just simple blue Hawaiian punch. Tip: create two separate drinks, one non-alcoholic and one alcoholic. Simply add in vodka for the alcoholic version. Another fun item to add to a drink station is a fun prop so guests can take photos.

Pin for later!! Remember, adding a wow factor like balloon garland will take your drink station to the next level.. all of the other decor an be pretty simple as guests eyes will be drawn to the balloons as the focal point!
