In my “Citrus Tablescape” blog post, I talked about how we are at that awkward time in the year. Pumpkins? Halloween? Summer still? Thinking of a theme can be hard during this time. Especially with hot temperatures still here. I decided to create another transitional tablescape to hopefully give you inspiration for early fall entertaining. This time using cool tones.

I decided to stick with beachy elements like jute, shells and succulents. This tablescape will work year round if you live by the coast. It would also look super cute with mini white pumpkins added to the centerpiece!

Each place setting included:
– Jute charger
– Silver flatware
– Wine glass
– White dinner plate
– Rattan napkin ring
– Indigo drinking glass (from World Market, in store) similar here
– Cornflower blue napkin

I kept the center piece really simple using a large conch shell in the middle, two mini conch shells on each side, mini succulents, and blue thistle eryngium.

I really love how each item paired together. The jute tones and subtle pops of blue really made for a gorgeous tablescape. Happy entertaining!
